Our four-night cycling tour of Gozo combines some spectacular scenery with luxurious accommodation where you can unwind at the end of each day. And, as we only run our breaks between September and May, you’ll be guaranteed balmy temperatures, as well as quiet lanes and beaches.
A short ferry ride from Malta, there’s a surprising amount to see on this tiny Mediterranean island. It’s home to Ggantija, reputed to be the world’s oldest temple which dates back to Neolithic times. Visit Calypso’s Cave where legend has it that Odysseus was lured by love for seven years. Wander around some of the spectacular churches such as Ta Pinu, climb the Citadel and cool off in the crystal clear sea.
You’ll stay in three hotels, with breakfast and dinner included - Ta Cenc, a stylishly renovated farmhouse retreat, the characterful Cornucopia Hotel in Xaghra (pron. Shahra) and the Kempinski Hotel in San Lawrenz which is renowned for its spa. Your luggage will be waiting for you there each evening - and we also provide you with all-terrain touring bikes, maps and a briefing.

Outside of the peak summer months, the Maltese island of Gozo makes for a tranquil escape with its excellent winter sun. Cycle through sleepy hamlets and lush valleys past Baroque churches and honeyed stone farmhouses. Stop for a dip at Ramla beach and try the surprisingly good Gozitan wines and the freshest fish.
