Mountain Paradise says
The Tatra Mountains are undoubtedly the most attractive area of Slovakia. Together with the Slovak Paradise and Pieniny National Park, they offer a spectacular backdrop for walking and trekking tours.
The Tatras are located on the border with Poland in the northern part of the Slovak republic. The mountain range itself is only 55 km long, making it one of the smallest of alpine character in Europe and one of the highest and smallest mountain ranges in the world.
We have carefully selected the most scenic and varied walks, covering five of Slovakia’s most diverse and beautiful national parks. Choose from easy strolls backed by stunning mountain lake scenery to more challenging mountain treks featuring chain climbing up steep rocky walls and ascents to towering peaks.
The walks, led by our expert local guides, all offer a variety of breathtaking scenery ranging from beautiful valleys, to deep caves and crystal clear streams to thundering waterfalls.
Our walking breaks cost from £399 pp and include four nights’ B&B accommodation in a choice of pensions, three days’ guided walking, transfers and flights from Luton, Manchester or Dublin to Poprad (25 minutes’ drive away).
