Iceland jeep safari

Mark and David's verdict

Although you tend to hear more about its financial difficulties than its natural assets, Iceland is a magnificent wilderness of glaciers, hot springs, fjords, waterfalls and whales – illuminated by the midnight sun in summer and the Northern Lights in winter. A jeep safari is the perfect way to delve deep.

Discover the World says

The land of ice and fire, Iceland is packed full of awe-inspiring wonders from spectacular glaciers, hot springs and geysers, to volcanic craters, lava flows, dramatic mountains and stunning waterfalls. This wild and dramatic landscape is the perfect setting for our Superjeep Weekend Safari - a truly unique adventure.

With high ground clearance, enormous tyres and advanced safety and navigation equipment, these vehicles can travel just about anywhere and it’s easy to see why they are a national obsession.

Travel in the winter months – one of the best times to visit Iceland - and you will get the opportunity to take your vehicle across the vast snowy tundra, hopefully witnessing the mesmerising Northern Lights as the days draw in.

The evenings are the perfect time to explore Reykjavik with its abundance of bars, restaurants and cafés. And of course, no visit to Iceland is complete without a visit to the Blue Lagoon – perfect for relaxing after the weekend’s adventures.

Our three-night Superjeep Weekend Safari departs every Friday from London and Manchester and costs from £684 per person, including two guided eight to ten hour superjeep excursions, flights and hotel accommodation.
