WildWise says

Established in 1999, we offer an exciting and diverse programme of holidays, camps and special events in our enchanted wild wood on Dartmoor, Devon. We are professional outdoor experts who love to inspire and inform people of all ages about the natural world.

Our team is passionate about what we do, and draws upon years of extensive experience. We offer adults, families, teenagers and younger children the opportunity to learn with experts, spend time in spectacular natural settings and meet like-minded people.

You’ll need to bring your own tent, sleeping bags, outdoor clothing and so forth. Evening meals are a group affair, gathered around the campfire, and for most courses you will need to provide your own packed lunch and breakfast.

Our courses are broad and diverse, ranging from wild food foraging and canoe trips, to family camps where children of all ages are welcome. We also offer adult-free bushcraft events specifically for kids aged eight and over, and teenagers.

Jill Attenborough, Project Manager for the Wild About Woods project for The Woodland Trust describes us as “a really talented company filling a very important niche. Discovering WildWise has been one of the real finds of the project”.
